The Ruakura Superhub, led by Tainui Group Holdings, is a multi-use development spanning 490 hectares, benefiting the Waikato-Tainui iwi. Officially opened in September 2022, it includes environmental sustainability measures and continues development across 92 hectares for Stage 1, which encompasses the groundworks and facility builds for the logistics hub and industrial zones, as well as the completion of the Ruakura Inland Port and its rail link.
