Infrastructure funds are government-supported funding and financing programmes aimed at supporting key infrastructure projects across New Zealand. These funds play a crucial role in building and maintaining essential services and facilities, such as roads, utilities, and communications networks.
National Infrastructure Funding and Financing oversees and manages several infrastructure funds established by Government to support the development of infrastructure in New Zealand, addressing specific infrastructure needs based on Government policies and priorities.
By managing these funds, we can ensure that investments are channelled efficiently to address critical needs across the country.
Infrastructure funds that we are currently managing include community, transport, housing, water, and environmental (including flood mitigation and carbon reduction) infrastructure.
