The purpose of this document is to agree on key messaging/communications to use initially on the website under ABOUT US and outlining the NIFF Purpose.
Once agreed and signed out for the website, it can be the base for all comms going forward. It will then be used in a variety of areas including SPE/SOI/Recruitment messaging etc and can be tweaked for the appropriate audience.

Website wording
NIFF is the New Zealand Government’s investor shopfront for public infrastructure and the centre of expertise on the funding and financing of New Zealand infrastructure. NIFF partners the private sector, iwi, and local and central government agencies on large public infrastructure projects involving private finance and alternative procurement models, (including Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) and advising on complex financing structures.
NIFF finances transactions under the Infrastructure Funding and Financing Act and administers several Government infrastructure funds including the Cyclone Recovery Programme, Infrastructure Reference Group programme, Rural Drinking Water programme and various connectivity related programmes such as Marae Digital Connectivity and Rural Broadband/Mobile.
Originally formed in 2009 as Crown Fibre Holdings, the organisation successfully rolled out the Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) programme providing Fibre-To-The-Home to 87% of population, marking it as the largest co-funded public-private infrastructure initiative in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our role has expanded to include partnering with private sector, central and local government, NGOs and mana whenua to fund, finance and deliver infrastructure, including connectivity, 3 waters, transport, flood protection, community facilities and social infrastructure.
